What is silica?

Silica is made up of 6mm 100% acrylic solid surface with natural fillers bonded to 30mm moisture resistant MDF backed with 1mm high pressure laminate.

Do Silica worksurfaces come pre-edged?

Yes, Silica worksurfaces come edged 1 long and 2 short sides (600mm and 650mm) and 2 long and 1 short side (900mm breakfast bar.) Extra edging is provided in the edging kits - 1000mm x 32mm x 6mm plus adhesive.

What sinks can I use with silica worktops?

Acrylic sinks are available in either plain colours or matched to the colour of the worktops. Please allow up to 3 weeks when ordering colour matched sinks.
